News: Stevenson Instrumental Music Program

Tag Day weekend is nearly here! Drivers wanted

All students in the Stevenson Instrumental Music Department are invited to participate in the Boosters' Tag Day weekend, Fri May 17th - Sun May 19th. This activity is open to all and is a terrific opportunity to earn funds for things such as Marching Band, your Spring Travel trip in 2020, for private lessons, instrument repairs, and more!

Specific details on the dress code, timing, and more will be released next week.

Yes! If you're a member of the Class of 2019, you MAY still participate on behalf of a younger sibling - or if you just want to donate your time to a friend!!

Parents and guardians, in order to make this event happen for the kids, we will need numerous adult volunteers throughout the weekend. The majority of the effort involves driving the kids to and from their assigned stores at the beginning and end of each day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). More importantly, we need to have adults on the road to assist with safety checks and to provide snacks and bottled water.

Roughly speaking, we use about 10 drivers (more is fine) during the time we're moving the most kids at dropoff & pickup, with others on standby / interim pickup / safety checks in between.

So we have an idea of how many volunteers we will have, we ask that you signup by visiting

and look for the "Tag Day Adult Volunteers" signup. Feel free to signup for as many of the shifts as you'd like -- all day volunteers are welcome!

Anyone driving students will need to provide a copy of their drivers license, current registration, and proof of insurance and have a background check on file. At no time will a driver be one-on-one with a student, you must always have at least 3 people in a vehicle when transporting students.
