Venture Global Engineering Foundation is pleased to announce that it has raised over $ 1,000,000.00 for local charities and school organizations over the past five years from monies raised at their annual charity golf outing.
This year’s outing will be held on July 20, 2019, again at the prestigious Wyndgate Country Club and the WestWynd golf course in Oakland Township - two of the premier golf courses in Southeastern Michigan.
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s non-profit partners are as follows: The Believe Foundation, Cassie Hines Shoes Cancer Foundation, Dryden HS Athletics, Mojo in the Morning’s Breaking and Entering, The New Day Foundation for Families, Oxford Elementary Enrichment Program, Romeo HS Band Boosters, Stevenson HS Band Boosters, The West Pointe Society of Michigan and local residents of a local nursing home.
With the help of our sponsors and donations; the amount earned this year will enable us to change the lives of many and support great local causes.
The all-volunteer Foundation was established to raise funds to support local community organizations, school groups and charities; and its annual golf outing is the only means of raising funds.
The first two golf outings were held on a single golf course, and due to the events popularity and demand for foursomes, a second course was added starting with the third annual outing. The outing has continued to be a sellout every year; even with the addition of a second course. The five outings have resulted in the Foundation being able to distribute a cumulative total of over One million Dollars to groups and charities.
The golfers will have use of the world class facilities of a private golf club and enjoy a full breakfast buffet, grilled hot dog stations throughout the course and a fabulous BBQ dinner buffet. Raffles and prizes will exceed over $40,000 in value (last year we had a hole–in-one winning $10,000.00.
Several lucky winners will receive a four person luxury suite package to various sport suites in Metro Detroit. One golfer will have the chance to put for $100,000.
